Energy Conservation Program

The efficiency of natural gas is matched
only by its comfort and luxury.

The Florida Public Service Commission has approved the Energy Conservation Programs of your local gas utility. These Energy Conservation Programs make it easy for customers to take advantage of the energy savings of natural gas.

The goal of such programs is to give residential and commercial consumers incentives to install gas appliances. Generally, these incentives come in the form of cash, construction allowances or reduced cost on new appliances and / or industrial equipment.

Your local gas company may have a cash incentive program that helps pay for a portion of the cost of switching to and installing or upgrading new gas appliances. Cash incentive programs vary from city to city and utility to utility.

Certain household appliances are eligible for the
Energy Conservation Program:

  • Water Heaters
  • Clothes Dryers
  • Ranges
  • Furnaces

Residential, business and industrial customers should inquire directly to the utility in their region for further information.

Each sponsoring utility has incentives and allowances for residential builders as well. Contact them while you're in the planning stages of your development.
